Kelly has a love for different languages and cultures, and personally has studied Spanish, French, Italian, and Sign Language. Kelly holds a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, and attended Columbus State University, Ohio State University, and the Italian Cultural Center in her pursuit of studying the beautiful language of Italian. She is married to Peter, and their family has a love for many different styles of music. Kelly was a substitute teacher in Illinois and Ohio, and home schooled her children, Grant and Addie, for many years. Including God in the academics and also sharing God’s love through personal concern for the students are things that Kelly particularly appreciates about SFCS. She is an avid crafter and always has a project on the needles. The past couple years have been especially challenging for their family, and she has found Psalm 3:3 to be encouraging. “But you, O LORD, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.”

SFCS has been blessed to have Kelly as its Foreign Language teacher since 2019.
