Steve Brower was raised on a farm near Claremont, MN and was saved through the ministry of Grace Baptist Church of Owatonna, MN. He attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, WI completing both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies.  Pastor Brower served as Youth Pastor at Fellowship Baptist Church in Watertown, WI from 1999 to 2001. He was then called as Pastor of Outreach and Discipleship at Grace Baptist Church in Owatonna, MN where he served from 2001 to 2008. While serving at Grace Baptist, Steve enrolled in the Master of Divinity program at Central Baptist Theological Seminary and completed the program in 2008. He is continuing his education at Central Seminary by pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Expositional Preaching.

In April of 2008, Pastor Brower accepted the call of First Baptist Church to the pastorate here in St. Francis, MN.  It was the joy of the church to call an ordination council, and upon their recommendation the church ordained Steve in July of 2010. Steve enjoys reading, sports, investing in people, and spending time with his wonderful wife, Heather, and their four children, Grant, Grace, Micah, and Moriah.

Pastor Steve shares his passion for God’s Word with the students at SFCS by teaching Bible and Speech classes at the secondary level.
